Locations: San Antonio, TX OR Montgomery, AL

Duration: 6-month contract with high potential for extension or conversion

Salary:

• Montgomery: $75k - $90k
• San Antonio: $100k - $112k

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, upgrade, patch, and harden routers, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches.
• Analyze and simulate network traffic to support problem resolution or test updated configurations in lab environments (virtual or physical).
• Monitor system utilization and circuit bandwidth; report anomalies to Government team leads.
• Escalate complex network issues to Senior Network Administrators.
• Develop, execute, modify, or remove scripts to automate tasks where possible.
• Document all workload activities per incident or change request for audit and investigation purposes.
• Notify the appropriate Information Technical Equipment Custodian (ITEC) or Property Custodian (PC) in writing within 4 hours of any accountable item moves.
• Neatly bundle and conceal all excess system or peripheral cabling after each installation or repair.
• Must be able to obtain CCNP and have active Top Secret Clearance
