Workday/HRIS Solutions Architect

Are you a Workday HCM/HRIS expert looking to make a significant impact in a rapidly evolving global organization? We're searching for a Workday/HRIS Solutions Architect to join our team full-time in San Antonio. In this critical role, you'll provide essential consultation and technical leadership for our HR systems landscape during a period of substantial growth and increasing complexity. With 17 ongoing projects, 42 active integrations, and a global employee base, this position demands a blend of deep technical expertise and a nuanced understanding of HR policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide techno-functional guidance for the optimization of Workday HCM systems, including modules for Payroll, Benefits, Background Checks, and Core HR.
• Offer technical guidance on the development and maintenance of HRIS systems, encompassing integrations, internal routing/emailing workflows, and benefits configurations.
• Partner closely with HR leadership to design and adapt benefits strategies tailored to diverse regions and organizational needs across multiple countries.
• Serve as a stabilizing presence and provide expert guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring cohesive and effective HR technology solutions.

Must-Haves

• 5+ years of experience in HRIS/Workday HCM management, with a strong focus on integrations and technical configurations.
• A strong grasp of HR operations, particularly in global payroll and benefits administration.
• Demonstrated experience supporting or advising distributed/global teams across multiple countries.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to navigate challenging team dynamics and conflicting priorities effectively.

Nice-to-Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Previous experience with global expansion or international benefits strategy.
• A background in managing offshore or cross-cultural teams.
• Familiarity with internal tools for routing, communications, or email-based workflows.
