DevSecOps Arcitect – and QA Focused

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a Dev Sec Ops  Arcitect.

We are seeking a Dev Sec Ops  Architect with strong Application and QA expertise to help modernize development practices and support engineering teams across a large, enterprise-scale organization. This role will play a key part in establishing secure development standards and integrating security throughout the application lifecycle. The team is undergoing structural changes, resulting in increased collaboration and a strong need for leadership in modern engineering practices.

• Partner with application development and QA teams to embed security best practices across the SDLC
• Lead implementation of secure CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and validation
• Utilize Git Hub and Git Hub AI to improve code quality, security scanning, automation, and developer workflows
• Define and enforce modern Dev Sec Ops  standards, practices, and tooling across multiple engineering groups
• Support teams with application-level security, automated QA frameworks, and quality engineering practices
• Provide technical leadership and guidance within an evolving organizational structure
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to promote secure delivery, modernization, and consistent engineering practices

• Azure certification preferred
• Proven experience as a Dev Sec Ops  Architect or similar senior role supporting application development and QA
• Expertise in secure CI/CD pipelines, application security, test automation, and modern Dev Sec Ops  tooling
• Hands-on experience with Git Hub and Git Hub AI required
• Strong understanding of cloud-based development environments
• Ability to lead, influence, and guide teams through modernization and organizational change
• Experience working in large enterprise environments with complex engineering ecosystems

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
