HCLTech is looking for a highly talented and self- motivated Lead Engineer/Gen AI Architect to join it in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity.

As a Lead Engineer/Gen AI Architect, you will spearhead the development and deployment of cutting-edge software solutions leveraging Generative AI technologies. This pivotal role involves mentoring a team of engineers, fostering innovation, and driving projects that align with the company’s strategic objectives in the AI domain.

Role/Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a dedicated team of engineers in the Generative AI space, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Address and resolve complex software development challenges to create robust applications.
• Develop Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) from both well-defined and ambiguous requirements.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development among engineers of all levels.
• Communicate effectively with both technical teams and leadership to align on project goals and outcomes.
• Adapt and integrate quickly into the clients environment, employing effective troubleshooting strategies.
• Foster strong engagement with Executive Management Groups (EMGs) and leadership to support project success.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in data engineering and SQL.
• Expertise in API development, particularly using FastAPI.
• Advanced application development experience.
• Proficient in software development with experience in Kafka and Snowflake.
• Familiarity with job automation tools like Control-M and Airflow.
• Competence in Java development and API development.
• Experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Knowledge of Dbt (Data Build Tool).
• Hands-on experience with AI and machine learning engineering, including model implementation using Python.

Academic qualifications/Level of Education

• Preferably an undergraduate / associate level degree / diploma from an accredited institution, in Computer Science / Statistics / Applied Mathematics / EE / Electronics or, any equivalent technical field of study.
• Applications are also invited from candidates with major in Software Engineering / Information Technology / Management Information Systems.

Skills:

• Python Programming, Data Engineering and SQL, API Development with Fast API, Application Development, Software Development with Kafka and Snowflake, Communication Skills.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $88,000 a year

Pay Range Maximum: $180,400 a year

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
