Database Engineer III – Postgre
SQL (San Antonio, TX)
Base pay range: $50.00/hr - $55.00/hr.
Location:
San Antonio, TX - Hybrid.
Method of Interview: 2-3 round video interview via MS Teams.
Skills

SQL, BDR, PGD, TPAExec, Automation via Ansible, Setup/Upgrade multi-cluster nodes, Project DBA.
Responsibilities
- Lead Postgre
SQL platform activities including open-source, EDB, and 2nd Quadrant integration. - Upgrade Postgre
SQL instances to the latest versions and perform complex system upgrades, moving from Oracle backend to Postgres. - Implement LDAP/AD integration and PEM.
- Use Ansible for automation of cluster setup and upgrades.
- Maintain operational support, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams, providing technical and business insight.
Qualifications
- Mid‑Senior level experience with Postgre
SQL and related tools. - Strong communicator with team‑focused mentality.
- Continuous learning mindset, eager to deepen technical knowledge.
