Overview
System Administrator Level 0 - Tier 1 Help Desk (AEXSA1) job at Advantage Engineering & IT Solutions Inc., San Antonio, TX. AEITS, Inc. is looking to grow its team. We are seeking a Systems Administrator, Tier 1 Help Desk, Level 0 (entry-level), to support our customer in the San Antonio, TX area. This role involves diagnosing and resolving issues, offering remote assistance to users worldwide, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems.
The position supports the helpdesk by investigating, resolving, and following up on user-reported problems.
- Diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and provide remote support to global sites using desktop mirroring and other access tools.
- Assist in mentoring less-experienced team members and address cloud infrastructure issues reported by users.

Location:
San Antonio, TX. All work is on-site (not hybrid or remote).
Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM or 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Certifications &Special Requirements
- IAT Level 1 certificate required within 6 months of start date.
- U.S. Citizenship
- TS/SCI with polygraph
- Bachelor s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
- Provides technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and software
- May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
- Applies basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and offer solutions
- Provides remote support access through desktop mirroring and other remote access applications for worldwide sites
- Identify, investigate, resolve, and follow-up problems brought to the helpdesk by users of cloud infrastructure
- Bachelor s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- OR High School Diploma and five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a Bachelor s degree.
- Less than 10% travel may occur.
- 401K with employer contribution. Fully vested at 1 year anniversary.
