Amazon is looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Installation Technician to join our growing team within infrastructure operations. You will work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next‑generation networks and assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our network.

To be successful in this role, you should possess technical aptitude, strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to deal effectively with people in a wide variety of situations. In addition, you must exhibit strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem‑solving ability. You will leverage your experience exercising high levels of initiative, judgment, and diplomacy. All candidates should be willing to work both independently and with a team.

Work prioritization, organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to react quickly are critical to success.

• Move and implement large enterprise equipment.
• Install fiber and copper cabling, and patch cabling between equipment.
• Ensure proper safety and security standards are maintained during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow well‑established hardware installation procedures and perform break‑fix activities.
• Safely use material handling tools and equipment.
• Travel within and outside of the regional work area as required; possess a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

All physical requirements are expected with reasonable accommodations.

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
• Work in an environment that operates 24/7 with participation in primary responder rotation and after‑hours support when needed.
• Work in cramped, elevated, or noisy environments.
• Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand, and walk for up to 8+ hours a day.
• Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation.

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ year of computer networking experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.

Compensation:
