Job Title and Details- Title: UI/UX Developer
- Duration: 12 months Temp to Hire
- Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
- Local Candidates: Work on W2 basis without sponsorship encouraged to apply.
- Base Pay Range: $40.00/hr - $42.73/hr
We are looking for a hands‑on experienced UI/UX Developer/Programmer who can drive and advance our next‑generation modern digital workplace technology initiatives.
Responsibilities- Act as designer‑developer, switching hats in both design and development, as an SME assisting high‑visibility projects.
- Create clean semantic HTML markup that passes WCAG & ADA/508 standards.
- Provide development and support to the customer‑facing design system, including new components, defects, accessibility, and page templates.
- Collaborate with analysts, developers, and architects for successful implementation and component requirements.
- Remain current on UI framework trends and programming techniques and suggest new tools and methods as needed.
- Design and maintain wireframes, mock‑ups, and UI/UX interfaces.
- Hands‑on development on front‑end frameworks (Vue.js, Angular
JS, React
JS, jQuery, etc.). - Research, design, develop, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of front‑end designs into the codebase.
- Participate in conceptualizing, prioritizing, and creating strategies for the product UX.
- Develop well‑structured and maintainable code that follows best practices and industry standards.
- High School or GED.
- Experience creating conceptual and detailed design solutions based on end‑user needs.
- Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager, SharePoint, and Word Press CMS is a plus.
- History of working with cross‑functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience communicating and working with business and technology users to create holistic solutions.
- Skills, knowledge, and experience using end‑to‑end Human‑Centered Design techniques, including design, research, and usability.
- UI/UX design or web developer certifications & training.
- Previous experience in the Electric and Gas Utility Industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or applicable business degree, or relevant business technical experience.
- Exposure to front‑end frameworks (Vue.js, Angular
JS, React
JS, jQuery, etc.). - Experience working within agile ceremonies and methodologies.
- ADA Compliance.
- UI Front End Developer.
- AJAX.
- CSS
3. - ESQL, SQL, and Java experience.
- HTML
5. - React Framework.
- User Interface Design.
- Vue.js.
