Sr. Azure DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a client-facing, consulting-oriented Lead Azure Dev Ops Engineer to support high-value enterprise clients, including organizations with revenues exceeding $1B. This role is ideal for a seasoned technical SME who can architect scalable solutions, drive Dev Ops best practices, and collaborate effectively with both internal development teams and external stakeholders. While not a formal leadership role, it demands technical ownership and strategic influence.

• Architect and support solutions in an Azure environment
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to clients and internal development teams
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops workflows
• Collaborate with software engineering, QA, and product teams
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Dev Ops tools and methodologies

• 7–10 years of hands‑on experience in Azure Dev Ops, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles
• Proven expertise in Azure cloud platforms, including infrastructure-as-code and deployment automation
• Strong scripting skills in Power Shell and Python for automation and tooling
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git Lab or Jenkins, including pipeline creation and maintenance
• Extensive knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
• Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Salesforce for issue tracking and workflow management
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment
• Certifications:
  
  Azure Solutions Expert
• Experience with:
  • Infrastructure-as-code tools:
    Terraform
  • Monitoring and observability tools:
    Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
  • Connect Wise or similar PSA/RMM platforms
• Prior experience in Managed Service Provider (MSP) environments, supporting multiple clients with varying infrastructure needs
