Research Scientist Junior​/Junior

Plata is seeking a Junior Research Scientist to enhance foundation models for financial data, focusing on applications like credit risk and anti-fraud. This role is suited for early-career professionals with a strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning.

As a Junior Research Scientist at Plata, you will work on extending existing foundation models applied to financial data, tackling challenges in areas such as credit risk and anti-fraud. Your responsibilities include training self-supervised models and optimizing compute resources for both training and inference, ensuring your work has a tangible business impact.

You will engage with large multimodal datasets and apply state-of-the-art NLP and deep learning techniques.
