About the role
Supabase is the Postgres development platform offering a complete backend solution. This role owns providing initial and timely support across a range of topics for developers and technical customers, triaging issues, and collaborating with product and growth teams to improve support efficiency.
What you'll do- Provide timely responses to support cases covering billing, pre sales, optimization, and implementation questions.
- Triangulate issues by directing users to answers, code examples, or escalation to appropriate teams.
- Monitor multiple feedback channels and reproduce issues to create test cases and improve coverage.
- Identify opportunities to build internal tooling to streamline support workflows.
- Collaborate with product engineering and growth teams to reduce time to fix and improve processes.
- 3+ years of experience providing developer support to technical customers.
- Proficiency in SQL, ideally PostgreSQL, and comfort with complex queries.
- Experience with Linux/Unix and command line; familiarity with Git Hub Issues and Discussions.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Bonus: database administration experience, familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte) and Node.js;
Computer Science degree is a plus.
