Digital Compliance Coordinator

We are seeking a Digital Compliance Coordinator to support the organization’s digital and privacy compliance initiatives. This role is in support of the Legal Department, but works closely with IT, particularly with Product and Development teams, to ensure compliance obligations are documented and progressing. This is an operational support role, not a legal advisory position. The role plays a key part in helping operationalize existing privacy policies, supporting vendor due diligence, and maintaining clear, auditable records.

• Work closely with IT product teams translating legal advice into acceptance criteria
• Maintain organized records and documentation for privacy and compliance activities
• Coordinate and track implementation of approved controls and notices
  
  Follow up with internal teams to collect required information and documentation
• Maintain trackers for projects, vendors, and privacy actions
• Support preparation of metrics, dashboards, and status reports
• Organize evidence for audits, leadership reporting, or regulatory inquiries

• Strong proficiency in Confluence and Jira within Agile environments, including ability to create and manage Epics, Stories, workflows, dashboards, and structured documentation
• Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years of experience in IT governance or privacy compliance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable coordinating across cross-functional teams
• Must be organized and able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Familiarity with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, EU AI Act, BIPA)
• Privacy certification (CIPP)
• Exposure to vendor risk management or audit coordination
• Experience working with AI governance

This role supports the execution and documentation of privacy compliance activities and does not provide legal advice or make legal risk determinations.

Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
