Data Science Manager, Data Analyst, AI Engineer (Applied/Software), Data Scientist
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Data Science & Advanced Analytics to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.
This role will lead a team of data scientists and analysts focused on delivering advanced analytics and AI-driven solutions that support commercial and enterprise priorities. The ideal candidate will translate complex business needs into actionable analytical products, provide technical direction on modeling approaches, and help shape the transition to self-service analytics. This is a highly cross-functional position with broad visibility and the opportunity to influence decision-making through clear, data-driven insights.
Location:
Remote
Compensation: $170,000 – $190,000 annually
Responsibilities- Lead and develop a team of data scientists and analysts
- Manage the day-to-day portfolio across commercial and enterprise stakeholders
- Identify high-value opportunities for advanced analytics and AI
- Translate business questions into actionable analytical products
- Provide technical guidance on analytical design and model selection
- Drive the transition to self-service analytics solutions
- Ensure insights are communicated effectively to diverse audiences
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; advanced degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in data science and advanced analytics
- 3+ years of people leadership experience in a technical environment
- Expertise in Python or R, with strong SQL knowledge
- Experience in statistical modeling and machine learning methods
- Ability to communicate complex analyses to non-technical audiences
- Experience in developing self-service analytics and transition plans
