. This is a hybrid role requiring on‑site presence at least three days a week.
This role focuses on supporting incoming multinational clients from Marsh's overseas offices who need U.S. insurance coverage. Core responsibilities include:
- Managing multinational business and supporting clients from offshore operations requiring U.S. coverage.
- Operating within the global commercial insurance marketplace while maintaining relationships with overseas offices and U.S. clients.
- Determining the scope of work needed in the U.S. and identifying necessary Marsh resources.
- Marketing the U.S. insurance program while ensuring direct communication with U.S. clients and coordinating with overseas teams across the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
- Evaluating risks and reviewing client needs to perform essential client functions.
- Retaining and generating new business through strategic information management, contract reviews, and mid‑term adjustments.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, prospects, and internal teams to deliver exceptional service, drive growth, and stay informed about market changes and compliance standards.
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a commercial insurance broker, commercial insurance account manager, or commercial underwriter.
- Property & Casualty license or willingness and ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Desired qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with surplus line placements.
