Key Information- Title: Litigation Skills Counsel
- Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 base
- Bonus: Performance‑based discretionary
- Location: San Antonio, Texas (relocation assistance available)
At Thomas J. Henry Law, we are building a premier litigation training academy that will define the next generation of trial excellence. As Litigation Skills Counsel, you will empower attorneys at every stage of their careers to reach their full potential and deliver the best possible results for our clients.
What You Will Do- Teach & Coach: Deliver dynamic, practical training that brings litigation skills to life. Sessions cover client intake, trial strategy, deposition techniques, motion practice, and mediation tactics, focusing on real‑world application.
- Build & Innovate: Work with the Chief Learning Officer to design and evolve the training curriculum, incorporating innovative teaching methods and cutting‑edge resources.
- Collaborate & Connect: Partner with Attorney Managers to align training with trial readiness goals and client service objectives, and collaborate with the mentorship program to create an integrated support system.
- Drive Excellence: Assess learning needs, track attorney progress, and provide feedback to continuously improve programs, fostering a culture of growth and support.
- JD and active Texas Bar license
- 5+ years of litigation experience with demonstrated trial and deposition work (personal injury experience valued)
- Proven track record of courtroom success and sophisticated legal work
- Genuine passion for teaching and developing others
- Ability to break down complex concepts and make them accessible
- Entrepreneurial spirit that embraces innovation in legal education
- Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience demonstrating commitment to professional development
- Exceptional communication abilities—engage, inspire, and connect with diverse audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Collaborative approach with the ability to build relationships across all levels
- Comfort with both structured curriculum delivery and adaptive, responsive, hands‑on teaching

- Performance‑based discretionary bonuses
