SummaryProvide legal services in immigration law, including representation and preparation of immigration applications, removal proceedings, bond hearings, asylum/deportation cases, and community outreach.
Responsibilities- Provide legal consultations and representation in immigration litigation.
- Appear in court for hearings, motions, or trials.
- Maintain case management documentation.
- Prepare legal pleadings and documents.
- Assist with USCIS interviews and grant compliance reporting.
- Supervise legal assistants and conduct consultations.
- Engage in community and agency projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Texas or Federal License Attorney.
- Minimum one year of immigration law experience; two years of legal practice preferred.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance.
- Minimum two years’ experience in law, including civil, family, criminal, or immigration.
- Knowledge of legal procedures, research, and document preparation.
- Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
