Supply Replenisher Associate

Position: Supply Replenisher Associate I
Pay Range: $15.00hr - $20.00hr Job Overview:
This position supports the implementation of lean supply management principles within the BU Laboratory network, including materials and supplies movement and replenishment to point of use in the laboratory. The candidate performs cycle counts and daily replenishment routines, interacting with laboratory staff and supply analysts to assure material availability. Responsibilities:
Execute standard business processes for managing material flow for all facility types in the assigned region, including laboratories and related facilities. Participate in internal work teams in the continuous improvement of supply replenishment processes focused on overall cost and cycle time reduction. Conduct regular physical inventory and cycle counts to assure the accuracy of on-hand inventories. Maintain visual management tools, such as Kanban, and mistake-proof initiatives, including labels with photos.

Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, or supply chain. Knowledge of inventory control systems is desired. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact well with all levels of staff. Efficient planning and organizing skills. Good math skills required. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in a variety of software, such as Excel, Word, and Visio, is highly desirable.

High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Due to nature of job The candidate must have Ability to lift 50 lbs or more. Benefits:
