Senior Operations Manager

A growing distribution and logistics operation is seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee high-volume warehouse and fulfillment activities. This role is responsible for driving operational performance, leading front-line leadership teams, and ensuring exceptional execution across safety, service, quality, and productivity.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who is comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment, developing talent, and creating scalable operational processes. Success in this position requires strong distribution and transportation expertise, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to influence teams through both leadership and accountability.

You'll lead multiple warehouse functions and be responsible for overall operational performance, including labor productivity, service levels, inventory accuracy, cost management, employee engagement, and safety results. This role partners closely with transportation and logistics teams to ensure efficient product flow and consistent customer fulfillment.

You'll build, coach, and develop operations leaders while creating a culture centered on accountability, safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. The position also plays a key role in identifying process improvements, implementing best practices, and driving efficiency across the operation.

In addition, you'll oversee warehouse fleet activities and partner with third-party logistics providers and delivery contractors to maintain high levels of service and execution.

• Strong distribution, warehouse, transportation, or supply chain leadership experience
• Experience managing delivery networks, fleet operations, contractors, and 3PL relationships
• Proven ability to lead through change and perform in a fast-moving environment
• Demonstrated success developing leaders and building high-performing teams
• Experience driving Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong operational, financial, and analytical acumen
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
• Action-oriented approach with a track record of producing results
• Four or more years of leadership experience in distribution, logistics, transportation, fulfillment, or warehouse operations
• Experience managing large-scale operational teams and multiple functional areas
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen
• Experience working with delivery contractors, fleet operations, and third-party logistics providers
• Ability to obtain industrial equipment certification as required
