Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Production Maintenance Supervisor to join the plant's maintenance staff, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. This candidate will be responsible for daily corrective and preventive maintenance activities related to the efficient operations of the Maintenance Department. They will be responsible for assisting in the creation and maintenance of a clean, safe, and well-functioning facility. Additionally, they will provide assistance, as needed, in the management and performance of routine maintenance on physical properties and equipment.
The candidate will provide ongoing support and coaching on projects, prioritizing them accordingly. They will also offer advice on the best protocols for resolution and long-term fixes. The ideal candidate for this position should have the availability to work a flexible schedule, which entails working on Fridays and occasionally on weekends.

This facility has the flexibility to build Class 6-8 trucks along with Electric Vehicles that allow International to add capacity to support anticipated industry growth.
Using the Internet of Things (IoT) and connected manufacturing principles, International's newest manufacturing facility will continue growing our market share gains, optimizing our supplier network and improving quality.
- Ensuring smooth and efficient operation of the Maintenance Department
- Preventive Maintenance scheduling and planning
- Development and management of all maintenance KPIs
- Downtime reporting
- Ensuring all metrics are met through effective management of maintenance resources and budget adherence
- Managing/Coaching/Developing direct reports
- Responsible for all decisions made regarding the maintenance of equipment and allocation of assigned resources
- Determine when work is outsourced or completed in house
- Capital project management, tracking and reporting
- Assist other engineering leaders in LEAN implementation
- Ensuring all safety process and rules are followed
- Bachelor's degree, at least 3 years of maintenance experience
- Master's degree, at least 1 year of maintenance experience
- At least 5 years of maintenance experience
- Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (U.S. Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H‑1B status).
- Strong maintenance experience at the supervisor/manager level
- Experience tracking key metrics and responding to meet expectations
- Experience with CMMS or EAM, usage and implementation
- Experience in leading improvement efforts in maintenance reliability and preventative maintenance
- Planning experience for daily maintenance, preventative maintenance, projects and plant shutdowns; position will work through shutdown
- Automotive or heavy manufacturing experience
