SUMMARY OF POSITION As the Enhancements Manager, you will take charge of bidding, financial oversight, and leading the design process for enhancements projects across all assigned accounts.

Your role is pivotal in developing new business, guiding projects from design through completion, developing enhancement team members, and ensuring every job is delivered profitably, on schedule, and to the client's satisfaction.

ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the bidding process on major projects in conjunction with the design team, including estimating, scope development, and proposal preparation, and assist Account Managers with bidding and pricing support on their accounts.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted point of contact and identifying new business prospects to grow the enhancements pipeline.
• Conduct heavy financial review of project budgets, costs, and profitability, ensuring jobs meet margin targets and stay within scope.
• Maintain oversight of project schedules across multiple concurrent jobs, coordinating timelines, crews, materials, and equipment to keep work on track.
• Lead the design process for enhancements projects by managing designers and reviewing their layouts, plant selection, and site plans, ensuring designs are client-approved and field-executable.
• Develop enhancement team members through ongoing training, coaching, and building technical expertise, strengthening the team's overall capability.
• Verify project completion on all jobs, confirming scope, quality, and client expectations are fully met before close-out.
• Maintain a heavy onsite presence on major projects, providing hands-on supervision, troubleshooting issues in real time, and ensuring crews execute to design intent.
• Foster seamless collaboration and effective communication with general contractors, subcontractors, clients, and foremen to provide exceptional client service and quality execution.
• Enforce a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
• Maintain cohesive administrative processes across corporate, division, and project teams. Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs to ensure operational continuity.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned, contributing flexibly to overall team success.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• Commercial landscape enhancements, construction, or project management experience required; prior bidding/estimating experience strongly preferred.
• While a degree is impressive, we recognize that what's on paper doesn't define you. Many of us have honed our craft at work rather than school. We'll consider both as a foundation of talent.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, + ABILITIES
• Service-oriented mindset—you love solving people's problems and are the first to raise your hand to help
• Strong financial acumen, with comfort reviewing job costing, margins, and budget-to-actual performance
• Demonstrated ability to self-manage and to set and achieve goals
• A team player who can interact effectively with people from a cross-section of backgrounds and at all levels of a company
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a client-centric mindset
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels of an organization
• Comfortable balancing significant time in the field with design review, bidding, and financial oversight
• Demonstrates high integrity and honesty
