*** Develop packaging standards, specifications and best practices
* Coordinate packaging performance and qualification testing
* Perform root-cause analysis and problem solving to issues with current packaging and process
* Provide technical expertise to achieve resolution of issues through knowledge of the company’s manufacturing and packaging needs
· Minimum of 5 years of Packaging R&D experience.
· Experience with corrugate, plastics, and films.
* Applied knowledge of packaging structures, barriers, and properties required
* Applied knowledge of packaging machining capabilities preferred
* Demonstrated analytical and technical  problem solving skills required
* Flexibility and adaptive to a rapidly changing environment.
* Cross-functional project management skills required
* Strong Excel-based PC analytic skills required
* Travel- ~25% or as required
· Moderate physical effort required such as standing, sitting, and walking in and around the office; the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; reaching, climbing, and kneeling as needed; utilizing fine dexterity, the ability to see, hear, and communicate with associates as well as others by utilizing professional etiquette.
