Pipe/Tank Finisher – Day Shift

Responsibilities
  • Operates finishing equipment.
  • Uses measuring equipment.
  • Operates a forklift (must be certified).
  • Uses saws and hand tools.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
  • Utilizes safe work habits.
  • Wears appropriate PPE.
  • Complies with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures.
  • Complies with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures.
  • Complies with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Ability to read pressure gauges.
  • Ability to work overtime and shift work as required.
  • Ability to read labels on pipe and specifications on paper.
  • Good vision required for safe operation of forklift.
  • Standing up to 12 hours daily.
  • Walking up to 12 hours daily.
  • Bending/stooping up to 12 hours daily.
  • Repetitive movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily.
  • Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Push/pull up to 12 hours daily.
  • Assist where and when needed as required.
  • Utilize recommended safe work habits and use all safety equipment provided.
  • Assist with OJT (On Job Training) employees as needed.
  • Travel less than 10%.
Education & Experience Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of verifiable work history.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English preferred.
