Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced aircraft structural mechanic to maintain, repair, and modify aircraft structures and structural components. This role requires a strong understanding of airframe and power plant systems, as well as the ability to solve moderate- to complex-level problems using technical documentation such as blueprints and manufacturers' manuals.
Compensation$50 per hour with approved pilot (AP)
$45 per hour without approved pilot
Eligible candidates may receive an additional $600 per week in per diem
Selected Candidates Will Have:- 4+ years of on-aircraft heavy structures experience and clear documentation of aircraft platform experience
- Demonstrated experience in close tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation on critical support structures (e.g., doublers, triplers, seat tracks, planks, stringers)
- Ability to obtain customer approval for aircraft access (dual or prior citizenship may preclude access)
This mechanic will maintain, repair and modify aircraft structures and structural components of moderate difficulty. The role includes maintaining and repairing aircraft components such as flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components. The incumbent will apply technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems to determine equipment malfunctions, restore equipment condition and operation, and solve problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints or manufacturers' manuals.
The candidate must possess thorough knowledge of aircraft repair procedures, replacement of parts, sheet‑metal/structural modifications and repair, as well as expertise with aircraft unique tools (test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet‑metal brakes, and shears). Working knowledge of technical publications is required. The incumbent may receive technical guidance from supervisors or higher‑level technicians, lead teams on complex aircraft tasks, and record entries in aircraft logs and records.
Prioritizing workload to meet project schedules is essential.
