Job Title

Machine Operator – Leviat North America – CRH – San Antonio, TX

Leviat is seeking a Machine Operator to maintain and operate machinery. Candidates must have a strong understanding of the machines they work with, and in-depth training may be required to prepare for daily duties. Machine operators may work with mechanical or computer‑operated equipment. They must be technically inclined and able to properly utilize tools and machinery. Candidates for this position should be detail‑oriented and willing to learn.

This position will work closely with all levels of management and employees to ensure safety and promote our safety culture.

• Operate machinery and equipment, inspect, and prepare parts for shipment per SOP/VOP.
• Notify supervisor of non‑conforming products or problems with machine, materials, etc.
• Communicate production issues with the next shift operator.
• Follow specific processes and procedures as outlined in SOP/VOP.
• Assist other operators in setting up machines and other necessary tasks to meet deadlines and complete production.
• Maintain records, report relevant information, and prepare necessary documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED, preferred.
• At least 1 year experience and/or training, preferred.
• Ability to interpret drawings and schematics.
• Ability to read a tape measure and caliper.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as requested.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Lifting no more than 40 lbs.
• Intermittent bending, lifting, stooping, reaching, walking, and squatting.
• Standing for long periods of time.
