Extractor Operator – Production Department. Reports to Production Supervisor.

Location:

Onsite in San Antonio, Texas. Pay: $18.50/hr hours/Shift: 3rd Shift.

Initiate set‑up, run, and operate extractors. Read weights, interpret and use basic PLC. Collect production data and samples for statistical and quality programs.

• Read and follow recipe(s).
• Troubleshoot problems.
• Communicate any issues to team lead or supervisor.
• Clean equipment after running daily.
• Gather and maintain required materials; coffee and water.
• General housekeeping, removal of trash, clean work area.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
• Responsible for consistently maintaining safe quality food products by following GMP, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP, SQF, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure visitors, contractors, and customers are documented on each visit in and out of the facility to maintain GMP, allergen controls, food defense, food security, and HACCP controls.
• Responsibly report all food safety and quality issues to management immediately.
• Partner with others, share knowledge, skills and information within assigned team and across functional areas.
• Ensure all safety work practices are adhered to.
• Exhibit an understanding of quality standards and ability to speak to Finlays quality systems.

• Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and written.
• Must be a team player, flexible and have good time‑management skills.
• Must be quality conscious and detail oriented.
• Must be able to work overtime or start earlier hours as needed.
• Mechanically inclined and understand the production process.
• High school graduate or GED.
