Senior Operator (Full-time) - Evening Shift
Join Nestlé Health Science as a Senior Operator in our Manufacturing Facility. This role focuses on ensuring smooth production operations during the 2:30pm - 11:00pm shift Monday through Friday.
OverviewAs the Senior Operator, you will perform a variety of tasks within the manufacturing environment, with a primary focus on complex operations. You will contribute to overall production goals, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and uphold high manufacturing standards.
Responsibilities- Set up, clean, operate, and adjust all equipment in the assigned department.
- Understand inventory requirements and make necessary adjustments.
- Monitor and control all process parameters to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform in‑process checks and conduct quality checks to meet dimensional and appearance requirements.
- Operate automated systems through the Human Machine Interface (HMI) within the assigned area.
- Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment while meeting consistent attendance.
- Demonstrate attention to detail when performing data entry tasks using paper records, electronic devices, PC hardware/software, and iPads.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 1-3 years of experience in a prior factory environment preferred.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to follow safety procedures inclusive of Nestlé’s Life Saving Rules.
- Physical ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs., stand, climb, bend, etc. within a manufacturing environment.
- Overtime may be required based on business needs.
- Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and food allergens such as peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish, and shellfish.
- Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
- Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English and comprehend simple instructions.
