Maintenance Technician - Nights
Location: San Antonio, TX
Position: Full Time
Pay: Starting at $31.51/hr, with wage progression every 6 months for 2 years.
Bonus: Potential 5% bonus based on overall plant performance.
Shifts: 2/2/3 schedule with every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. Night Shift: 6:30 pm to 7:00 am.
Job Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and plant utility equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operations.
- Install, relocate, and modify equipment including electrical, gas, water, and air hookups.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Fabricate and repair tools, fixtures, and guards as needed using shop equipment (lathe, mill, welder, grinder, etc.).
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts, and work orders.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including LOTO and PPE use.
- Minimum 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical and electrical repair knowledge.
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical (480 V), and preventive maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
- PLC troubleshooting experience preferred, not required.
