Fabricator Welder role at PFI Conveyors
. Candidates chosen for an interview will be required to demonstrate TIG and/or MIG welding skills during the interview. High standards in TIG welding are expected due to sanitary demands of the food industry, for which we manufacture conveyor and material handling equipment.

Weld complex assemblies as required using TIG and some MIG welding techniques.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Ability to weld complex assemblies as required using TIG or MIG welding techniques.
- Fabricate small components as required.
- Safe use of various equipment such as hydraulic bushing presses, drill presses, band saws, spot welders, grinders, hand tools, etc.
- Use and understand various paperwork, including schedules, barcode system for tracking projects, prints & tech standards.
- Fork lift operation.
- Overhead hoist and/or crane operation and safety.
- Perform routine housekeeping and maintenance.
Regular, consistent attendance.
Education – Experience – Computer Skills- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- One year of related experience and/or training;
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Welding certificate preferred but not required.
- Fork lift license desired.
- Continually participate in additional training related to the job.

- Must be able to frequently stoop/bend.
- Must be able to regularly use hands and arms.
- Must be able to regularly stand and walk.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with hoist available.
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with hoist available.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
- Specific hearing abilities required for this job include the ability to hear equipment alarms and the ability to hear instructions from others.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
- Regularly exposed to working near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and extreme heat (non-weather).
- May be exposed to the risk of electrical shock and vibration.
- Steel-toe safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, and protective gloves.
