SummaryPrepares and Maintains AR coating units for process. Loads lenses into AR coating units. Performs all levels of AR coating operation. Performs general daily and weekly maintenance.
Pay Class and PayPay Class: Full Time
Pay: $18.10 - $19.16 per hour
Job Tasks- Properly load sector onto carousel for coating process.
- Remove corresponding Lens basket from oven while validating correct lenses in tray and inspect individual lens for defects.
- Accurately complete process documenting form located on cart next to coater.
- Ability to select proper job recipe and perform coating operational procedures using touch screen display.
- Properly perform test slide functions and operate spectrometer for test slide validation.
- Upon coating cycle completion, remove lenses from sector and return to appropriate tray.
- Clean and prep chamber between each cycle.
- Change gas cylinder and replace water in chill system as required.
- Ability to communicate and escalate with peers and principles.
- Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, workstations and overall facility.
- Practice and comply with all requirements promoting a safe and healthy workplace environment.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred
Experience & BackgroundOne (1) to three (3) years of related manufacturing experience preferred
Language SkillsMust be able to read English to understand written procedures, hazardous warning, etc.
Mathematical SkillsAbility General mathematical skills to include basic adding, subtracting, multiplication and division
Reasoning AbilityAbility to think logically in following procedures and instructions General problem‑solving abilities Exhibit sound and accurate judgment and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness

The associate is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level in this location is moderate (use of computers, printers and machines). Limit weight for lifting, pulling and pushing is no more than 50 pounds. When lifting loads heavier than 50 pounds, requirement is to use two or more people to lift the load.
Ability to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends and holidays.
