Bandsaw Shop Operator

As a Bandsaw Shop Operator, you’ll get to set up our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation! You’ll be a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role.

Hourly Pay: $14.00/hr. + Piece Rate

Shift(s): 1st Shift Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm

Location: 514 Merida St., San Antonio, TX 78207 (SA Central)

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets.
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, or roofing preferred.
• Quick hands, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift wooden pallets weighing about 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

• Ability to work in extreme conditions (heat, cold, air particulate).
• Repetitive lifting up to 50-75 pounds and adjusting body position throughout shifts.
• Noise level depends on location.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required (eye protection, ear protection at some locations, safety shoes).
• Specific vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
