CNC Machinist
CNC Operator responsible for setting up and running horizontal and vertical mills, ensuring tight tolerances and maintaining tooling. Works 2nd shift and handles offsets, program edits, and quality checks. Earns $24-29 per hour and receives benefits after 30 days.
2nd Shift | 4p-2a | 4 day work weeks | OT as desired
Key Responsibilities:Set up CNCs (Mazak verticals and horizontals, Multi Cam router)
Touch off tools, set work offsets, and edit programs to improve cycle times
Hold tolerances of ±0.003" and verify with calipers, /OD mics, depth mics, and gauge pins
Read blueprints, including GD&T, and perform in-process quality checks
Detect out-of-tolerance trends and correct machine issues early
Manage tooling: change-outs, inserts, boring bars, fixtures, and tool inventory
Perform basic preventive maintenance such as coolant, way oil, and cleaning
Cross-train across every machine on the floor
1+ year setting up multi-axis CNC mills or routers (vertical and horizontal preferred)
Hands-on experience with offsets, tool touch-off, and blueprint reading
Comfort with precision measuring tools and GD&T
Willingness to work overtime when production calls for it
CNC Mill (Horizontal and/or Vertical) operation experience
Offset adjustments ability

You have 1+ year multi-axis CNC mill experience. You can read GD&T blueprints and verify tight tolerances. You're comfortable with tool offsets, program edits, and maintenance
