Sign Production Assistant

We are searching for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to help in the printing and production of client sign projects.

• setting up print and cut jobs
• maintaining printers, laminators, cutters, and routers
• cutting and assembling signs as needed
• packing, shipping, or delivering finished items
• maintaining items in the warehouse
• Set up and execute jobs as provided by designer for the targeted equipment with the proper materials.
• Cut printed materials as needed either manually, using a panel saw, or using a router.
• Maintain all equipment making sure printer heads are clean and all items are functioning properly.
• Assemble signs as needed.
• This includes screwing coroplast signs onto metal stakes.
• Pack up signs as needed for shipping making sure signs or products will not be damaged.
• Pack up signs or products for delivery and deliver them to client locations.
• Make sure all products meet the clients standards for quality and consistency.
• Maintain items in the warehouse and notify team members when we are running low on inventory.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients.

• Proven work experience as a Production Assistant or similar role.
• Proficiency in running jobs on printers, cutters, laminators, or routers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Understanding of production processes and materials used in sign creation.
• Must be able to pass a background check and have a good driving record.

Reports to the Production Manager.

Salary:
Hourly rate is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Pay Range: $12 to $15 an hour.
