Piper Companies is seeking a Lead Communications Specialist to support an industry-leading credit union headquartered in San Antonio, TX
. The Lead Communications Specialist will develop and execute strategic communication plans that enhance member engagement, strengthen brand presence, and ensure consistent messaging across internal and external channels.
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage internal and external communications, including press releases, newsletters, digital content, and corporate messaging.
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across the organization.
- Lead crisis communication planning and execution.
- Analyze communication performance and provide recommendations to improve engagement and effectiveness.
- Lead and mentor communication professionals to deliver high-quality content and initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, including 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Financial services, banking, or credit union industry experience preferred.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Experience with digital communication tools and platforms.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 depending on experience.
