Resource Float Registered Nurse

Overview

Resource Float Registered Nurse opportunity at Methodist Hospital. We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team and provide high-quality patient care across units as a float pool nurse.

• Consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.
• Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
• Provide communication, confidence and professionalism, with active engagement in unit and organizational activities.
• Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and act as a resource to the patient care team.
• Deliver high-quality nursing services and promote a positive image of nursing.

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate, or baccalaureate degree nursing program.
• Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (employees with RN Compact License must obtain Texas RN License within 60 days of hire).
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
