Shift InformationThe position is full time, working M‑F 6:30 am‑3:00 pm. No call, no nights, no weekends, no holidays.

Acts as patient advocate during the perioperative period by implementing a plan to protect them from injury, wrong‑site surgery, infection and retained instruments. Coordinates the patient’s care between providers and hospital staff. Supports the patient’s physical and emotional needs, while assisting the surgeon. Documents care provided accurately and completely, including interventions, equipment, and supplies.
Required Education- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Basic computer keyboard skills
- Meditech proficiency
- Texas license as a Registered Nurse
- Certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Operating Room (CNOR)
- One year experience as a circulator in a hospital or outpatient surgery
