$15.00/hr - $15.00/hr

Job Summary

We seek a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on weekends. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality care to our residents and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Obtain vital signs, record them, and notify the office of deviations according to standard practice.
  • Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, dressing, hair care, shaving, deodorant application, skin care, foot care, and ear care. (

    Note:

    Q-tips are not to be used.)
  • Perform nail care and oral hygiene to facilitate treatment or prevent deterioration. (Nail cutting or filing will NOT be done.)
  • Change bed linens and make the bed.
  • Assist with eating and maintaining adequate nutrition and fluid intake when appropriate.
  • Assist with ambulation and transfers, including helping patients to the toilet/commode or with bedpans, and assisting with transfers and positional needs.
  • Perform incidental household services essential to patient health, such as light housekeeping, straightening the room, and laundry.
  • Provide medication reminders.
  • Understand and apply basic infection control principles and procedures, reporting concerns to the supervisor.
  • Follow the Plan of Care as instructed by healthcare professionals.
  • Document appropriately and submit all documentation per agency policy.
  • Observe and report changes in the patient's condition or family situation.
  • Follow the visit schedule and communicate any changes or issues.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and agency personnel.
  • Attend required in-services and meetings (minimum of 12 hours per year).
  • Adhere to the Agency's Policies and Procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and participate in Performance Improvement activities.
