As a Certified Nurse Midwife, you’ll provide prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care. As a member of the Army Nurse Corps, you’ll monitor pregnancy progress by listening to fetal heartbeat, taking measurements, and estimating fetal size and weight to assure a healthy birth. You will also provide low‑risk full‑scope gynecological and obstetric health care to females of all ages in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with an additional capability to serve in surgical first‑assist roles.
Requirements- Be a U.S. Citizen by the time you commission as an Officer
- Master’s Degree of Nursing
- License to practice nursing
- Eligible for a Secret Security Clearance
- Medical License
