IMPORTANT TRAVELER INFORMATION:

All travelers are required to float.

Travelers should be informed of the Methodist Floating Policy during the interview.

The unit has experienced attendance issues, including call-ins and no-shows.

Do not submit candidates with a history of attendance issues.

Med-Surg: 1:5

Unit Staffing:

1 PCA

Equipment: Standard

Documentation System: Meditech

Scheduling Requirements: Every other weekend

Floating Policy: As needed

HIRING PROFILE

REQUESTED SKILL SET

MUST HAVE:

ACLS

BLS

At least 2+ years of experience

NIH – Required

Vasopressor experience

PREFERRED / ADVANCED SKILLS:

Meditech experience preferred

SPECIALTY / UNIT CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Active TX RN License

Temporary licenses are no longer accepted

PROCEDURES PERFORMED ON UNIT:

Critical Care

DRESS CODE:

RN SCRUBS:

Navy scrub top and pants

Navy or white scrub jacket

NAIL POLICY:

Clean and healthy nails

HAIR / GROOMING:

Hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors

Beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed

TATTOOS:

Body art should be covered whenever possible

Body art that cannot reasonably be covered daily will be addressed individually

PIERCINGS:

Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
