- RN Circulator who can position patient on hospital bed, prep, position for surgery, and monitor all equipment.
- CST who can perform Ortho, Plastics, and Podiatry.
Description:
This position requires 6-7 days of work plus 1 weekend per month. Shifts can be either 3x12 hours or 4x10 hours. The unit has 7 beds and a staffing ratio of 1 RN and 2 CSTs on the day shift. There are no staff on the night shift. The patient ratio is 4 to 5 cases per team. No specific equipment is mentioned.
On-call requirement is 4 to 5 call days. Staff may float between campuses. Typical procedures performed include total joints, hip replacements, tibia and fibula surgeries, ankle surgeries, and foot surgeries. Procedures also include plastics such as breast reduction and expansion, as well as robotic surgeries. Candidates with at least 3 years of experience for Circulators and CSTs will be considered first.
The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, work hard, and be willing to take trauma call. All employees in the surgical services have been with the organization for 3 or more years.
