** Day shift (1:6 charge ratio, 6 RNs, 2 PCTs) or Night shift (1:6 charge ratio, 6 RNs, 2 PCTs);
Maximum patient ratio 5:1;
Rotating weekends
** Highlights:** - 24-bed Progressive Care Unit specializing in medical trauma patients
- Meditech Expanse electronic medical record system
- Collaborative team environment with designated charge nurse support on every shift
- Opportunity to perform specialized procedures including thoracentesis, chest tube management, and post-cardiac catheterization care
- Standard PCU equipment and technology- 13-week contract assignment
** Requirements:** - Active RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility- BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid)- Minimum 1 year of IMU/PCU experience (required)- Charge nurse experience (preferred)- Meditech Expanse experience (preferred)- Ability to float to adult units as needed
