American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week contract requiring active TX or compact RN license and ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke certifications.

• ICU setting with 14 ICU beds and 20 Med/Surg beds
• Patient ratios of 1:2 in ICU and 1:5 in Med/Surg
• Unit staffed with 1 PCA and 1 UC
• Standard critical care equipment used
• Documentation via Meditech, with experience preferred
• Night shift schedule from 7p-7:30a
• Rotating weekend schedule with every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required as needed, per facility floating policy

• Active TX or compact RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Vasopressor experience required
• Meditech experience preferred

• Provide critical care nursing in a high-acuity ICU environment
• Join a cohesive, experienced care team
• Navy scrub top and pant required, with navy or white scrub jacket
• Nails must be clean and healthy; hair neat with no extreme styles or colors
• Facial hair must be clean and neatly trimmed
• Visible body art should be covered whenever possible
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
