American Traveler is hiring an RN for a 13-week Ortho Telemetry travel contract requiring med-surg telemetry experience and a night shift commitment.

• Orthopedic Telemetry unit with 23 beds
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• Post-operative care for total joint replacement, general surgery, plastics, and gyn patients
• Uses telemetry, lift equipment, cryotherapy, SCDs, and bedside pulse-oximeters
• Charts in Meditech
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Floating required to Surgical Telemetry
• On-call required during low census periods

• Active RN license (TX or compact)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Med-surg telemetry experience required
• Telemetry competency required
• Ortho experience preferred

• Provide post-operative telemetry nursing care on a busy ortho unit
• Team includes CNC, RNs, PCTs, and a Unit Secretary
• Navy scrub color required
• Candidates should be team players with strong communication skills
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• No local candidates accepted
