Pediatric Hospitalist

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated pediatric hospitalist to join their busy San Antonio practice providing coverage at Methodist Children's Hospital. Clinicians will care for patients on medical/surgical floors and the intermediate care unit while collaborating with experienced nurse practitioners. Practice Info

• Average of 10-15 pediatric patients daily on hospital medicine shifts
• Work alongside experienced nurse practitioners for newborn nursery coverage, delivery attendance not required
• Hospital has PICU and NICU on site

• Care for patients admitted to the medical/surgical floors and intermediate care unit

Shift & Schedule

• Mixture of day and night shifts
• Night coverage is in-house from 6PM to midnight, with home call from midnight to 6 AM
• Typically work shift blocks of 3-5 days, though this can be flexible if longer stretches are preferred
