This community mental health center delivers outpatient psychiatric services to an adult population within a structured clinical environment. The facility maintains established clinical resources to support continuity of psychiatric care delivery on an ongoing basis. A locum tenens Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is sought beginning November 2026 to meet the clinical needs of the population served.

Clinicians in this role will provide full-time outpatient psychiatric services for an adult population, working day shifts Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with the final hour of each day designated for documentation, totaling 40 hours per week on-site. Clinical responsibilities include conducting initial psychiatric evaluations (60 minutes each) and medication management follow-up appointments (20 minutes each) for adults presenting with depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and co-occurring disorders.

The daily caseload consists of 14 patients: 2 new evaluations, 1 hospital discharge, and 11 follow-up visits. No call coverage is required for this assignment.
