RN - Medical Surgical

Refugio, TX | Acute Care

Contract | Days | Pitman Schedule (Week 1: Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days; Week 2: Off 2 days, work 2 days, off 3 days)

• Provide direct patient care on a medical floor serving inpatient, outpatient treatment room, observation, and swing bed patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
• Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and responses to treatment
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory standards

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license)
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience in Medical Surgical nursing
• Ability to work a Pitman rotating schedule

• Experience in a setting that includes observation and swing bed patient populations
• Familiarity with outpatient treatment room workflows
• Strong critical thinking and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
