American Traveler is hiring a Tele/PCU RN for a 13-week night shift contract requiring ACLS, BLS, and telemetry experience.

• Work in a 29-bed private room Tele/PCU Cardiac Unit
• Patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Uses telemetry monitoring and continuous pulse ox equipment
• Charting via Meditech EMR
• Floating required to Med Surg, Tele, PCU, and ED Holds
• Required to work all weekends

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Telemetry experience required
• 1 year of recent RN experience in PCU specialty required
• PALS, ICU, Tele, or PCU experience preferred
• NIH Stroke certification preferred

• Perform respiratory and cardiac assessments on cardiac telemetry patients
• Care for high fall risk patient populations
• Assist with blood transfusions, IV starts, and midline/central line removals
• Team-oriented, self-motivated candidates preferred
• Navy blue scrub attire required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
