• 3-4 patient assignments, travelers will be asked to care for admission holds
• Floating policy:

Hiring profile Requested Skill Set:
Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)

• Heart Transplant Experience
• BLS
• ACLS – facility requirement
• PALS – facility requirement
• 2+ Years of Hosp/specialty experience

Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first)

• Heart Experience
• Pediatric Heart Experience
• Intra-Aortic Balloon pump experience
• Adult Heart Transplant
• Cell Saver
• Peripheral Vascular
• Meditech Experience Preferred

Specialty/Unit Certifications

Required:

(RN)

• ACTIVE TX RN LICENSE – temp license will NOT be accepted

Procedures performed on unit:

• Coronary Artery Bypass
• Surgical Valve Replacements
• Adult Heart Transplant
• TAVR
• Pediatric Hearts
• Thoracic/Lung procedures
• VENTRICULAR ASSIST DEVICES

Dress Code:
Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.

• Scrub Color
• RN:
  Facility will provide scrubs
• Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy
• Hair – hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed
• Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
• Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited
