American Traveler is hiring an experienced GI/Endoscopy RN for a day shift position requiring prior endoscopy procedure experience and a TX or compact RN license.

• Work in a 2-bed GI lab within an Endoscopy unit
• Day shift unit staffed with 2 charge nurses, 3 RNs, and 3 techs
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Performs procedures including EGDs, colonoscopies, bronchoscopies, ERCPs, and ION
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Floating required to Pre-op and PACU areas
• Weekday and weekend call rotation shared among staff

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required, with no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in GI/Endoscopy required
• Experience in pre-op and recovery care for GI patients required
• Experience with GI procedures required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Provide pre-op and recovery care for GI patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
• Team-oriented personality is a strong fit for this unit
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
