Externship Opportunities: We have expanded our externships program by over 2000% over the last two years to enable more quality DVMs to experience the City Vet difference - A.S.K. (Autonomy. Support. Kindness).

City Vet’s externships are customizable programs of 2-weeks where you can work alongside our team and the owner veterinarian to experience real hands-on expertise. Here are a few other benefits:

• Enrolled as a 3rd or 4th year student in an accredited DVM program.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Carry professional liability insurance. AVMA PLIT liability insurance is free for all student members of the AVMA. You may apply for this coverage on their website.
• Please check to make sure your coverage is current and submit a certificate of coverage with your application.
