Who We AreProcess Chemistry focuses on analytical support of petrochemical and renewable process research projects. The work includes testing and performance of lab developmental and experimental processes, utilization of specialized equipment, and fabrication of sophisticated, custom sampling systems.
Objectives of this Role- To control and monitor management of samples for the department.
- Gather and report results of sample analyzed. Be proficient with various PC software applications to manage samples and lab supplies.
- Keep a well mentioned area for samples for both internal and external analyses.
- Help keep chemistry labs in good working order with needed supplies.
- Communicate with senior staff, chemists, and project managers regarding samples and lab.
- Maintaining samples and their analyses and results for samples in lab not directly performed in lab.
- Helping maintain consumable inventories.
- Physical testing including measurements for pH, specific gravity, TOC, titrations and other lab testing.
- Supervising technicians and managing their training for various testing.
- Communicating daily with senior staff/management and PMs.
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent or an Associates in Chemistry or related.
- Shift work required.
- 2-3 years:
Serving as a lab technician or similar in chemical industry. - 2-3 years:
Performing lab test. - 1-2 years:
Sample control, organization, handling pertaining to sample management, including organizing the results. - A valid/clear driver's license is required.
